"I liked maths this week. The computer game was fun. I like basketball and I was shooting into the net to get the answer. It was takeaway sums. You had to shoot the balls into the net to get the answer. oh and I was winning!"

I am glad you liked the subtraction game. You seem to be engaged and enjoying the game.  By winning, shows me, you have correctly solved the subtraction sums. Well done you met your success criteria. You can subtract from 10! Now Let's try subtraction from 20 :-)

       What do they do
       How do they help us
      Working cooperatively
       Sticking to roles

"I liked the placemat activity. I liked my role as the writer and going to the other groups to write what I learned. We were right to be safe."

You worked extremely well as the writer it was your responsibility to write everything down, then rotate to the next group and teach them what you have learned. By the time you get back to your home group you will be an expert overflowing with knowledge! super work :-)

LI: I can count in order to 100

" I enjoyed active maths this week. My favourite station was the shop. I was counting out how much I had to pay. I bought an apple. It was 10 pence. I had to count the money up to 10 then give the money to Euan."

" The shop was good fun this week. You are correct,10 pennies is the right amount for an apple.  You knew that each penny represented 1 and you needed 10 to pay for the apple. Good counting. Keep practicing your counting."
