" This week I definitely enjoyed Art. I liked making and painting the logs and trees. It was fun and looks just like the gruffalo trees!

I am so glad you definitely enjoyed art this week! Your trees are fabulous well done. They look just like the gruffalo forest.  You used your senses and your previous knowledge of describing words to create the backgroud. Therefore, you met the succes criteria! Great work ;-)

LI: I can describe and write to show how people help me.
SC: What they look like
        How they help us
        Correct sentences
        Capital letters and full stops.

"I wrote about my mum. She always helps us. I liked drawing my mum then writing about her."

Fantastic sentences.! Well done:-) you have descibed your mum very well from the picture. You have told us how your mum helps you. Great work, I can see how you used your picture to describe your mum's features. Therefore, you have met the success criteria :-)

LI: I can draw and label the features of a police officers uniform.

" I enjoyed drawing the uniform on the police officer. I chose the protective vest as I think this very important part of the uniform. The hat has a black and white check pattern. This helps us recognise a police officer. The badge and the police number are other parts of the unofrm."

"I like the uniform, it is very detailed and you have shown you know where the important features are of a police officers uniform! Well done! You have labelled the features correctly. You have shown that the features must be visible in order to recognise. Therefore, you have met the success criteria. Great work."
